WELCOME TO CELIA CAKES
a boutique bakery in Arlington, Massachusetts dedicated exclusively to creating wheat free, gluten free cakes that are both beautiful and delicious, to enhance your celebrations.
The idea for this gluten free bakery began to take shape after my husband was diagnosed with celiac disease in March 2005. At first, we focused on the basics – carefully screening the ingredients we used to be sure that our daily meals were safe. Once we adjusted to this routine, we noticed that celebrating special occasions with friends and family had its own set of challenges. I wanted to give my husband back the simple joy of sharing a piece of cake with our loved ones, so I began to bake gluten free cakes for these events.
I experimented with recipes and ingredients, in search of the right combination of elements to create cakes with a taste and texture that everyone would savor, and I am pleased to say that I succeeded in designing a number of sweet, indulgent, and luxurious confections. I founded Celia Cakes in order to bring other families the same happiness that we experience in sharing special moments with the most important people in our lives.
